Becoming a mentor or a mentee can be an exciting experience for throughout your semester at UHCL. A mentor will help guide a mentee through their first year at UHCL, help establish a basic routine of everyday college life, and become a great support for the mentee. Mentees will also play an important role in this relationship by receiving and implementing the knowledge, guidance and support given by the mentor.

If you are eager to learn, willing to be a team player, or be a risk taker, then come by the SHOSTS Peer Mentor Program office located in the Student Services Classroom Building (SSCB). We are located on the 3rd floor, office # 3.301. Become a part of something great!

Office hours are Monday – Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. You can also apply on line at www.uhcl.edu/peermentoring  or email Ann Reynoso at Mentors@uhcl.edu.
