Chipotle and Slices & Ices!

I have not done my homework this week because I became a food critic. My taste buds were born to critique food. I can taste every hint of flavor in the meal. I checked out two food chains this past week-, Chipotle and Slices and Ices, both of which are located on Bay Area Blvd.

Let’s start off with Chipotle. The concept of creating your own burrito or burrito bowl is great! It’s like an unhealthy Subway. I got the steak burrito with rice, tomatoes, lettuce, and sour cream. I’m not a fan of burritos so I knew my final verdict when I started eating. The flavors went very well together, it just tasted a bit like high school cafeteria food to me. The atmosphere of Chipotle was nice, but I got a factory type feel out of it. The menu doesn’t have much of a variety which was kind of a bummer, but overall I got great customer service and an okay burrito. I have to give chipotle 2 out of 5 burritos.

Next up was Slices and Ices. A pizza place that serves big slices, where- I got the honey bar-b-que pizza. Man it was literally like eating wings on pizza. Never before has one slice of pizza filled my stomach up, but the blend of chicken ranch and bar-b-que was like a party for my taste buds. It was a pretty calm and chill place to have a slice and it seemed like a great place to study or chill with friends. I didn’t get a chance to try the Italian ice, but the flavors looked like they were die for. Having sensitive tastebuds is a great thing that I have been blessed with. I can still taste that burrito and pizza. Both are great food restaurants. Slices and Ices gets 4 pizza slices out of 5.

Chipotle is delicious to me for their burrito bowls. I get a combination of black beans, chicken, white rice, salsa, corn, cheese and lettuce. Seriously go there once a week lol!
