Wilson Park Dedication – Campus Road Closure – May 2, 2015
The office of University Advancement will be hosting a dedication ceremony for the new Wilson Park area this Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 2 – 4PM. There will be various campus street closures to accommodate the event. Since there are several other events on campus Saturday, as well as being the weekend before finals, the police department urges you to take the time to review these road closures and the accompanying map so you can navigate campus efficiently.
- At 1:00 PM the section of Bayou Drive between the Four Way Stop and the entrance to the Bayou Loading Dock will be closed. Vehicles entering Entrance 1 and 2 heading towards Bayou and SSCB will be diverted towards Lot B and Lot R for parking. This road closure will end at 4:00 PM.
- Bayou Drive West adjacent to the Nature Observatory will be closed from 1 – 4PM.
- Individuals may still use Entrance 3 to park in the D Lot for access to Bayou and SSCB Buildings; however, access to Arbor and Delta Buildings will be unavailable if you come in this way. For Delta and Arbor Buildings, please use Entrance 1.
