‘Going Through’

From the moment of conception
Your creator always knew
There would be some things in life
That you would have to go through

Frustration was learned early
With the task of tying your shoes
And increased with many other tasks
You had to repeatedly learn to do

Those tasks did not defeat you
Somehow you made it through
And the tasks you have at hand
Today you can accomplish too

If you would just accept Christ Jesus
As the Savior of your soul and know
What you are going through
Is designed to make you grow

The growth of your faith and wisdom
So your worship of God is true
And you would accept the Master’s Plan
God has divinely chose for you

The plan to save His people
With the light through you He shines
The same exact plan that’s chosen
Will prosper you in time

Be obedient and allow God to use you
What he wants from you He shall reveal
And when you find yourself uncertain
Use that time to just be still

He will give you strength and courage
God’s Peace will follow you
But there will be trials and tribulations
You will just have to suffer through

During your walk with God you will
Stumble and fall a time or two
Get up and keep on walking
That’s what His followers do

When you reach your mansion in Heaven
That Jesus has prepared for you
You will praise the Most High God
For allowing you to go through
