Did you know about the Health Center?

Now, that the weather is constantly changing, it is not cooperating with me – it’s cold, it’s hot, and then it gets freezing cold – I am definitely prone to getting sick. Being sick is no good, especially on campus. It can get pretty frustrating but luckily there is a Health Center at the SSCB on the first floor in Room 1.301.

The Health Center provides students with services such as health insurance, lab tests, medication, immunizations, vaccines and injections. They also provide female students with gynecology services, such as pap tests, breast exams, and contraceptions. The Health Center has a pharmacy with over-the-counter medications, prescribed medication and health products for a low cost. The staff of the Health Center is made up of nurses, gynecologists, a doctor and a chiropractor that will take care of and answer your concerns.

You can stop by the Health Center at any time during business hours or you can request an appointment to see a nurse or physician. You can give them a call at 281-283-2626 or
