INTERACTIVE MAP: Student discounts in the Clear Lake area

Be sure to keep an eye out for online discounts as well! Here are a few websites offering student discounts:

  • The New York Times offers a $1 a week discounted subscription for students when they a sign up using an .edu email address.
  • The Wall Street Journal offers students a discounted subscription of $15 for 15 weeks with access to print, online and digital access. Just use your .edu email address to qualify.
  • Adobe offers student discounts on its software programs. For example, students can get all apps for $19.99/month or Photoshop and Lightroom for $9.99/month when they sign up using their .edu email address.
  • Amazon is an online marketplace offering everything from textbooks to vacuum cleaners. Amazon offers students free 2-day shipping for 6 months and a half price subscription after the 6-month period ends.
