Intervarsity Christian Fellowship to host retreat

The Intervarsity Christian Fellowship (ICF) will be traveling to Giddings, Texas for a three-day retreat called Encounter South starting on Sept. 30 and ending on Oct. 2.

The retreat has the primary goal to, “Experience God and the Christian community through workshops, engaging speakers and times spent with your campus fellowship.” Speaking at this event will be Maureen Mathew, Fernando Lardeo and Josh Howell. 

ICF will meet up with colleagues from other college campuses including Texas State University, University of Texas in Austin, Steven F. Austin State University and Our Lady of the Lake University.

The vice-president and co-chairman of ICF, Michelle Gibson, said that the goal is to have at least ten people join the retreat.

The current registration fee is $90, but it will rise to $100 after Sept. 16. Everyone is invited to attend this event and carpool will be provided.
