UHCL hosts VA Rep’s for claim assistance

UHCL faculty and staff members are invited to join us next week. The Capt. Wendell M. Wilson Office of Veteran Services will be hosting the Department of Veteran Affairs on campus on September 28, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m..

During this time, veterans will be able to seek the following services:

Ø File a disability claim with a VA representative

Ø Follow up on the status of a current disability claim

Ø File for an increase in disability compensation rating

Ø Veterans at risk for homelessness can receive housing assistance

Ø A Women Veterans Coordinator will be on hand to answer questions specific to female veterans

This event will be held in the UHCL Office of Veteran Services and is open to all veterans; Veterans do not need to be enrolled at UHCL to participate. To attend, veterans MUST RSVP by responding to this email in order to ensure adequate time is allotted for each veteran and their respective VA Representative.
