Autism Allies training for UHCL faculty and staff

The Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities is partnering with the Student Success Center and Disability Services to launch a pilot program this semester to provide additional supports for our students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Our approach to this program, Connecting to College, is two-fold. First, we provide individualized supports for students with ASD or similar needs who are participating in the program. Second, we provide trainings and consultations for the wider UHCL community (faculty, staff, students) to better understand and support students with ASD.

 

To kick-off the program we will be hosting three events in the next two weeks for the UHCL community. Please see below for additional information and hopefully we will see you there!
