SLICE to host annual Day of Service

Student Leadership, Involvement and Community Engagement (SLICE) invites the UHCL community for the annual Day of Service held March 4.

Formerly known as Community Outreach Day, Day of Service aims to connect UHCL community members to opportunities to volunteer in the community. Day of Service projects include volunteering with the Alzheimer’s Association, Hope Village, Lighthouse Christian Ministries, AMED Community Healthcare, Anchor Point, Resource & Crisis Center of Galveston County, Galveston County Food Bank, Armand Bayou Nature Center, Youth for Christ and Bay Area Habitat for Humanity-Houston.

The Day of Service is open to all UHCL students, faculty, staff, alumni, community and family members ages 18 and up.
