Katy will soon be home to a new 15.5-acre retail center named Katy Asian Town.
Located at the Grand Parkway and I-10, Katy Asian Town aims to serve the significant Asian population around Katy and become a destination for students and staff of the new University of Houston campus that will be built nearby.
H Mart, the number one international supermarket in the US, will sit at the heart of the shopping center with an array of Asian themed restaurants, bars and shops surrounding it.
While there is no set completion date, soft openings of some stores are expected in early 2018.
