GALLERY: Jason Case Patio Cafe cup art designed to inspire UHCL students

Jason Case, ceramics major, was inspired to create art out of ordinary paper cups in the Patio Cafe. His inspiration came from an artist named Keith Haring. Case wanted to display his art onto an item that normally would be seen as trash. This idea was derived from the fact that Case wanted to make something that people handle every day as more than an object, but rather a piece of art. In the end, Case hoped to inspire people to get more creative and to make something meaningless into something meaningful.
