RECAP: The East End Esplanade hosts annual Frida Fest

East End’s Esplanade hosted its annual Frida Fest April 14-15. The festival paid tribute to the late Frida Kahlo, a Mexican artist who is most known for her surrealist paintings and self-portraits. Featured vendors and artists from all over the state attended the event to celebrate her legacy and artwork. Frida Fest featured many local artists, food trucks and an attempt to set a new Guinness World Record for the most Frida impersonators in one place.
