UHCL will host a graduation ceremony for students who graduated virtually because of COVID-19 at Minute Maid Park Dec. 4. Graduates from the class of Spring 2020, Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 are eligible to participate in this ceremony.
Two opportunities to cross a stage and accept a degree, and both times I assumed that I would have another opportunity to complete the task. A silly mistake that many realized well into this pandemic.
A March 12 email from UHCL announced their decision to host the Spring 2021 commencement online May 16 at 10 a.m. and the Soaring Hawks Parade on the same day at 4 p.m. Graduating students are now pushing back on this decision.

The UHCL will host a virtual commencement ceremony on July 17 to honor spring graduates. The event will take place at 6:30 P.M. on YouTube Live, and will be open to the public.
