Houston businesses offer college student discounts
Most college students struggle to make ends meet. In an effort to help, the Student Government Association recently joined several other colleges as part of the Student Savers Program, which recruits local businesses and provides them with the chance to offer discounts to college students.

The topic of the meeting will be Designated Tuition. Nov. 2 at 6pm in the Forrest room. This will give students an opportunity to voice their opinions about tuition in an organized forum, all are encouraged to attend.
There will be another meeting on November. 3 at noon, also in the Forest room.

Jump Into SGA \ SGA \ SGA Day
Students encouraged to have a say and jump into SGA
Student Government Association hosted its semi-annual SGA Day Oct. 19 to garner student interest in student governance and the issues of importance to the student body. “Our slogan for this year’s SGA Day is ‘Jump Into SGA’ because we believe it is crucial for students to let their voice be heard in committees, town hall meetings, and SGA meetings,” said SGA President Rebecca Smith.
