Attend the live video conference featuring motivational speaker Al Duncan as he presents “Rise N’ Thrive: From Great Potential to Exceptional Performance.” Duncan is the leading motivational speaker for at-risk youth and is the author of “My Success Journal for Young People” and “Get ALL Fired Up!” The live video conference will be held in the Forest Room inside of the Bayou Building on Tuesday Oct. 25 from 6-7:30 p.m. This free lecture is open to the public and sponsored by Student Leadership, Involvement & Community Engagement. UHCL students volunteered their time to Habitat for Humanity by helping to build a house for a family during Community Outreach Day in 2009, sponsored by Student Leadership, Involvement and Community Engagement. This year’s Community Outreach Day took place Saturday, Sept. 25.
