QEP Logo and Slogan Contest offering $150 gift cards to contest winners
Calling all creative minds! How would you like a chance to win two $150 gift cards to the UHCL Bookstore?
The Promotion Committee, a subcommittee of the QEP Steering Committee, wants to hear from you! The committee is in the beginning stages of creating a logo and slogan for the committee’s QEP topic. A contest is being sponsored and your participation is requested in the creation and design of this QEP logo and slogan.
QEP stands for the Quality Enhancement Program and is tied to the 2012 reaccreditation of UHCL by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). The topic for UHCL is: Applied Critical Thinking for Lifelong Learning and Adaptability.
You can find the QEP Concept Paper that provides a brief description and overview of the QEP topic, as well as a conceptual framework for the components (Curiosity, Connection, Communication and Creativity) that impact applied critical thinking, on the QEP web site: http://prtl.uhcl.edu/portal/page/portal/PRV/QEP/.
The Promotion Committee will officially accept submissions for the QEP Logo and Slogan Contest until 6 p.m., April 18. Submissions should be turned in to the Office of Student Life, located on the first floor of the Student Services and Classroom Building. Two $150 gift cards to the UHCL Bookstore will be awarded – one for the best logo and one for the top slogan.
If you have any questions, please contact Dr. L. Jean Walker at walker@uhcl.edu, convener of the Promotion Committee.
