Study abroad in Costa Rica in Summer 2012

The UHCL Geography Program has announced its Summer 2012 study abroad program to Costa Rica, May 13-24 and July 15-26, 2012. The 12-day program consists of a three-day visit to the Selva Verde Rainforest Lodge and Reserve, followed by a nine-day EF College Study Tour of the country’s diverse places and peoples.

Cost for the program is $2800, which includes airfare from Houston to San Jose, most ground transportation, admission to national parks and other sites, and room and board. Tuition is not included. UHCL scholarships are available; the deadline to apply for scholarships is Jan. 12, 2012.
