The 19th Annual Family Christmas Play
AUDITION INFORMATION
The first auditions for ages 12 on up will be held on Nov. 2 (Sunday) and 3 (Monday) at 6 p.m. in the Powell Arena Theatre, 8060 Spencer Highway, in Pasadena, on the San Jacinto College Central Campus. Call 281-542-2039 for directions and more information.
Rehearsals will begin on Nov. 5 at 6 p.m., and will continue M-F from 6 till 10 p. m. until we open. The first performance will be on Dec. 4, and will run until December 14. Some roles will be double-cast. A second audition for ages 4 on up will be in mid Nov.
It is time again for those mean ol’ characters to try and steal Santa’s Magic! Will they succeed? Now is your chance to be a part of this successful production. Come audition for this increasingly popular annual event. Join actors of all ages and varying levels of experience. If you are just interested in acting and have no experience, or if you are a seasoned professional, there are parts for you!! Enrollment is not required!! Auditions for children ages 4 to 11 will be held on Nov. 19 and 20 at 6 p.m.

Santa…………… (I think we all know who he is!!) Male; Age Unknown; Loud; Jolly; We provide the stuffing…if needed.
Clara…………. Female; Age Unknown; Loving wife to Santa (possibly the smarter of the two).
Barbie………… Female; 20’s; She is a doll…literally; Multiple personality types.
Old Meanie…… Male; 40’s; Wise but mean!; Must not be adverse to the color green.
Young Meanie…. Male; 18-20; Kinda mean, but not too wise; Youthful; Playful; Likes green, too.
Max……………. Any Gender; Any Age; Tiny; Animal companion to the Meanies; Must be limber.
Elf #1………….. Any Gender; Any Age; Bossy; Rude.
Elf #2…………… Any Gender; Any Age; Very Happy; Very loving.
Elf #3…………… Any Gender; Any Age; A very simple minded Elf.
Elf #4….……….. Any Gender; Any Age; Always Smiling; Very smart.
Elf #5………….. Any Gender; Any Age; Always crying.
Elf #6………….. Any Gender; Any Age; Always sleeping.
Elf #7………….. Any Gender; Any Age; And you thought Elf #3 was simple!
Elf # 8 (Elfis) … Male; 40’s; The King.
D.J. Elf #1……… Any Gender; Any Age; A rapping Elf, or should we say “wrapping”.
D.J. Elf #2..…. Any Gender; Any Age; See above.
Sugar Plum……… Female; 18-25; A fairy that can dance.
Soldier/Frosty…… Male; 18-25; Another toy.
Jack in the Box…. Male; 18-25; A Jack in the Box toy.
Stretch Arnold….. Male; 40’s; Schwarzenegger would be proud!
Big Bad Wolf…. Male; 18-25; Mean and snarling…
Scarecrow……… Male; 18-25; Direct from OZ. Afraid of his own shadow (and crows)
Cat #1……… Female; 18-25; A stuffed animal that can dance.
Cat #2……… Female; 18-25; A stuffed animal that can dance.
Doll #1……… Female; 18-25; The name says it all.
Doll #2……… Female; 18-25; The name says it all.
Mouse……… Female; 18-25; Meek, timid, scurries and like cheese.
Teddy Bear……… Any Gender; Any Age; Warm and cuddly, but always sad.
Velveteen Rabbit. Female; 18-25; Bouncy and energetic! Nibbles on carrots.
Lion……… Male; 18-25; Direct from OZ, as well. He needs C-C-Courage!
S.B.I………. Any Gender; Any age; Small Elf; Part of Santa’s Elite Force!!
Elf on the Shelf.. Any gender; Any Age; A tall Elf that tattles on children every night!!
Grandma Grinich Female; 60’s; Loving and caring
Elf Handlers……… Any Gender; Any Age; Watches over the young elves.
