Symposium highlights comics, graphic novels and popular culture

The biennial symposium, comiCulture, was held at the University of Houston-Clear Lake Sept. 26. Hosted by UHCL’s Art Gallery, comiCulture is a one day event that feature comic exhibits, skateboard art workshops, presentations from special guests, and portfolio reviews. READ MORE

Berenice is a communication major set to graduate in 2017. She is a mother of four: two boys and two girls. She enjoys traveling, loves meeting new people and, in her spare time, she enjoys dancing and listening to soca and reggae music.
