Relax and chill at the Kona Grill

It’s Friday night, you and your buddies are hungry and no one can make a decision on where to eat.

Everyone is shouting out suggestions like Red Lobster and Olive Garden and pretty soon the names become a blur, and you’re all back at square one. You pause amongst the never-ending debate and realize no one can decide because everyone has been to all these places too many times.

Maybe it’s time to try something new, perhaps a restaurant at the Baybrook Mall expansion?

The Clear Lake area is full of restaurants, and it seems a new one pops up every month. If you haven’t heard, the new expansion at Baybrook Mall includes some tasty new additions.

One in particular I had the pleasure of dining at was Kona Grill. My girlfriend and I stopped in for a bite to eat at Kona Grill this January. We arrived a little after noon and were immediately seated by the hostess. Shortly after, we were greeted by our waiter who was patient, upbeat and very friendly. It’s refreshing to visit a restaurant where you feel welcome and comfortable with your server.

The atmosphere, décor and overall feel of Kona Grill was very nice. My girlfriend and I were seated in a booth that backed up to a wall filled with rising bubbles and neon-blue lights. It was very relaxing and interesting to watch. I ordered the big kahuna cheeseburger and my girlfriend had the basil pesto linguine; we were both very pleased with our meals. They were presented delightfully, tasted great, and the prices were reasonable too.

Kona Grill offers a variety of foods from burgers and pizzas to sushi and jambalaya. Whatever your preference, their menu provides a variety of options to please all. Whether you are looking to dine in with friends and family or catch a drink with a colleague, Kona Grill is a great spot to hang out and enjoy a meal.
