“Fostering Independence in Adolescence”
Presented by Patti Shoemaker, BCaBA

This presentation is for caregivers who would like to foster independence in their learners by teaching daily living skills, such as grooming and completing household chores. Topics covered will include how to choose tasks for your learner, how to teach the tasks, and how to reward your learner. Helpful hints and how to troubleshoot roadblocks will also be reviewed.
