UHCL community members invited to assist in search for new UHCL president

The search for a new UHCL president is underway. Richard Walker, University of Houston System Vice Chancellor and chair of the UHCL Presidential Search committee, invites the UHCL community for three open forums during the spring semester to help assist in the search for a new president for UHCL.

Each forum will be a time for search committee members to hear from UHCL community members about the features they believe are key for UHCL’s next leader.

“Your input and guidance will help us find a leader who will continue to transform and elevate UHCL,” said Walker in an email to UHCL employees.

The first forum will take place 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Jan. 31, in the Bayou Building Garden Room. The second forum will be held 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, in the Bayou Building Garden Room; the third will take place 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, in the Bayou Building Garden Room.
