The 2023 Texas Job Fair will take place on April 4 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the University of St. Thomas

Texas universities have begun to enforce the removal of the popular social media app, TikTok, from all government-issued devices following Governor Greg Abbott’s ban.

UHCL hosted its second annual Sustainable Stories Film Festival Friday and Gallery Exhibition, Nov. 11. The Film festival focuses on sharing stories and pieces about sustainability with the Clear Lake community.

The Student Government Vice President of Administration Jessica Armstrong stepped down Oct. 4. The applications for VP close Oct. 25 and presentations for the nominees will take place Nov. 1 during the SG General Assembly meeting.

UHCL will have its Fall 2022 commencement Dec. 10 at NRG Arena. The period to apply for graduation is still open. The deadline for late graduation applications is Oct. 21.

Student Government is currently accepting proposed SG constitutional amendments until Oct.4.

UHCL’s single sign-on service go.uhcl.edu experienced a denial of service attack Aug. 22, the first day of classes for many UHCL students.

Between the months of February through June of this year, there have been ten Clery stalking reports made on the UHCL campus thus far.
